to force SSL https:// you'll need to make some changes to how the web server manages your content. Firstly it is important that your website has an SSL certificate and your website already loads when you visit https:// followed by your domain name. Contact sales to purchase a SSL Certificate.

- Login to Cpanel at yourdomain/cpanel
- Click file maanger and open your public_html (or domain name root folder)
- Click settings in the top right

- Enable Show Hidden Files


Do you now see a file in file manager called .htaccess ?



if you do not see .htacess click here

right click .htaccess file and click code editor

add a new line to the top of the file
copy and paste

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
# This checks to make sure the connection is not already HTTPS
RewriteRule ^/?(.*) https://%{SERVER_NAME}/$1 [R,L]



Plesk

Login to Plesk

go to hosting settings

enable redirect to SSL
